What is an ASIST Course?

ASIST is a 2-day course that teaches how to intervene with a person who is at risk of suicide. It is a one of a kind course that reduces stigma around conversations about suicide and trains on the correct way to help a suicidal person.

The ASIST course is updated regularly to reflect new knowledge and findings and has been improving knowledge around suicidality for the past 40 years.

Why should I take an ASIST Course?

Results demonstrate that ASIST courses helps participants become more willing, ready, and able to intervene with someone at risk of suicide. ASIST is also proven to reduce suicidality for those at risk. The course is also shown to improve general listening and counselling skills, as well as having absolutely zero adverse affects on participants.

Our course is ran by expert trainer and qualified Psychotherapist Matt Gray. With years of experience running mental health training and suicide prevention courses, all of our ASIST courses are ran with high levels of professionalism and care.
